SAP EM Maturity Chart

The Self Assessment is based on the SAP EM Maturity Chart as developed by Q Data USA.
SAP EM Maturity Chart
The questions are designed to learn more about your stengths and weaknesses in each quadrant:

  • Quadrant 1: Data Integrity is the focus. If you have issues in this area then some system and process housekeeping is in order. It would be difficult to implement SAP EM with an organization that is in Quadrant 1. In order to get out of this quadrant you can have our sister company Reveal achieve your data and process maturity.
  • Quadrant 2 - Integration and processes are the focus. If you find yourself in this quadrant then it would be a good time to engage in thoughts of implementing SAP EM
  • Quadrant 3 - Collaboration is the focus through the use of standard functionality and processes. Event Management is the tool to help you move through quadrant 3 into quadrant 4. You are ready for driving REAL value out of your system and processes
  • Quadrant 4 - Driving out business value is the focus. Get the most out of what you paid for. Once again SAP EM is one of the most important tools to help you acheive this.

The Self Assessment

This assessment is based on the Business Value Realization (BVR) Methodology for SAP EM. It has been established over many years of delivering tangible results to companies all over the world. At the end of the assessment you will be given a SAP EM readiness rating. This rating shows where your organization lies in relation to other organizations' effectiveness in managing key areas described in the Information Maturity Quadrants as related to SAP EM.

Format: 28 questions

25) How satisfied are you of the visibility available to you across your distributed process (internal and external partners) Visibility in the areas of process, data, planning and goals

Other Options

If you are not interested or have already taken the Self Assesment and you want to take it to the next level then we have 2 further options for you to try before you make the decision to move towards a SAP EM Implementation.

  • EM Readiness Assessment - If your organization is contemplating the benefits of utilizing EM across your supply chain, but do not know if you have the process, people, and technological understanding, then you might benefit from an Event Management Readiness Assessment. This early-on effort puts a preliminary roadmap of actions necessary to prepare your organization for a more in-depth week long assessment of education and high level design.
An on-line test is administered and followed up with a visit from one of our thought leaders dedicated to surfacing the issues necessary to determine the value proposition for your company. A "Go/No go analysis" is performed and a formal recommendation is made in terms of organization preparedness for use in this system.
  • Complete Assessment - 5 day EM Assessment - We’ll show you what EM is, implement a scenario with you, show you what it can do for you and lay out a plan to achieve the benefits that EM can have to your organization.
